Some people seem to have the preconception that cat ownership is easy. I mean throw them some food, change their water and install a cat flap, sorted! Right?

Well yup, some cats are easy to own but they all just like us have their own quirks and ideas on life.

Ever met a cat who would only eat at 3 pm and starve herself at all other times? We have!

Ever witnessed a cat previously stressed by a cattery incident, attack anyone within the vicinity if they spotted a carrier? We have!

A stressed cat is not a fun cat. Think indoor spraying (yep that’s pee), aggression all wrapped up in sulky little ninjas bodies. Think gremlins only worse… eek.

What do you do with a cat like that if you have to go away? Do you call a neighbour or family member and perhaps feel indebted to their generosity? Or do you call a professional cat sitter?

What is included in the Poppy and Pals Cat Care experience?

* Feeding – Dry or wet. Set meals or free fed.

* Water changes – Cats are finicky, if they even think one spec of dust is in their bowl they won’t drink. Which is why bowls are cleaned every visit.

* Cat flap or house cat – In, out, in, out, and in again for 30 seconds. Cats love to keep their human slaves busy so whether your kitty is a lazy bum or outside forager we will care for him or her. Litter trays don’t scare us.
