Poppy and Pals Puppy Club, get the low down!
Over the many years we have offered pet care in Maidstone, we have had many young puppies on the books, and we have always felt like they miss out. Yes, they get visits, yes they get attention and love (sometimes too much when we can’t drag ourselves away and stay too long) and yes they get a short walk once their jabs are done.
However due to the worry of over exercising and the size difference with some of our daily dogs we (like most other dog walkers) don’t accept them on group walks until they are at least six months old. At which point a lot of their vital socialisation periods have passed and as most pups who require puppy visits will also require a dog walker, later on, they miss out on car travel socialisation, routine creation and lots of lots of fun.
So with this in mind, we have created an exclusive puppy care club in Maidstone. Puppies who require our visiting service are now invited to join us on a once a week adventure play time with other similarly aged pups.
Our aim is to ease them slowly into the routine of being collected and walked by other humans, car travel in a different vehicle to their owners, play time (obviously, that’s the best bit) and lots of mental stimulation.
Walks will last one hour to an hour and a half and any pups who tire easily will have the added bonus of being able to pop back into our vehicle for a rest as we will be running on a secure field.
We will have limited spaces due to the nature of the club so it will be on a first come first served basis.
Puppies MUST have had all their vaccinations. Larger and older puppies will be allowed in on merit due to safety reasons.
