I don’t usually review things for this blog but I have found a new favourite toy that I want to share with you guys. The SHOWHAS silcone pet water bottle.
At the time of writing this we are having a heatwave, well for Britain anyway so I have yet again been on a search for a water bottle that doesn’t make me look like I have wet myself or leaves me with a well placed bruise. I have tried so many water bottles over the years but so far never found one that doesn’t leak, the intergrated bowl flip out during walking or that isn’t cumbersome. UNTIL now…
So and bare in mind I am no affiliate to this product, I bought it myself and have gained nothing from this review let’s see why this one is different.
- To start with the water canteen is actually silicone, making it squidgy and light weight whilst empty and comfortable on your leg as you move.
- The bowl doesn’t flip out like a foldable version, as it is attached to the top of the bottle it stays there.
- It’s cute. Yeah yeah that shouldn’t be a reason to buy it however aesthetics please me and I love the colours.
- I have used this on six walks now and it has not leaked once. Ususually the flip versions drip or start to un-do with movement. Not this baby!
So what are the bad points.
Well personally for me it doesn’t hold enough, the medium size holds just over 200ml. However if it was a bigger size I think it could be too heavy.
The bowl is small, you can see why from the photo however a larger dog may struggle to drink from it and I know my pointy nosed lurcher may struggle not to hoover up some H20.
So where can you get yourself one? Well I found mine on Amazon for the slightly stingy price of £12 but I defintely think it is worth the money as it feels like it will last.
